Ben Cameron of DDCF in the Heart of Brooklyn

Culture is essential. As part of our 10th Anniversary Speaker Series, Heart of Brooklyn invites Ben Cameron to consider the role of the arts and cultural institutions in our global, mobile, virtual world. Mr. Cameron is Program Director for the Arts at Doris Duke Charitable Foundation in NYC, where he supervises a $13 million grants program focused on organizations and artists in theatre, contemporary dance, jazz and presenting fields. Prior to his work at the Foundation, Mr. Cameron held positions at Theater Communications Group, the Dayton Hudson Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. He has presented to arts communities at both the national and international level, including TEDx.
